Scent of Your Perfume
By the enchanting scent of your perfume
You have such a wonderful bouquet
It doesth hold the spring Magnolias at bay,
The Empress Josephine* would have spent
Her country's fortune to bare your scent
Pirre Magnol* would have lavished the same
Just to speak of what I pray to claim,
Your perfume is a Southern French delight
A mystic fragrance of attractive starlight
Your natural aroma is more of the same
My heart shall forever carry your sweet name.
