Shallow People
made of glass
golden outlines
of human form
You see right through
their hearts and brains
Just a slow movement of
air...throughout
You want to give some
kind of flesh, some of
your soul
some of your love
But it whizzes
right through
their shallow glass houses
with no depth
no humanity
one dimensional creatures
no feeling,
lifeless
just a put on show
of gold stick figures
in see right through
glass...
No guessing at the
lack of caring, the
indifference, the fair
weather friends they are...
They just exist to fool you
make you sad, showing no
caring, no love, no heart,
no truth
Hollow people with no character
Outlines of creatures without
any insides...
gold dust outlines
disappearing under the wind
gone and invisible...
in an instant...
