an ineffable desire.
in my leisure, i have become inure.
a constant feeling of lassitude,
from a love i could not secure.
with no more passion for today,
i still have hope in the night.
with just a melodic whisper of your name,
we can hold each other ever-so tight.
only dreams with tranquility,
it's my symphony with no mistake.
i long for your beauty every night,
that i shun the moment i awake.
as each dawn breaks my memories fade,
a coarse effect that makes me cry.
but i know another night will soon come,
so i search the day for another lullaby.
