Breathing deep breaths beneath
conifer canopies where the rustle
of dry needles crunches the silence
and I open my eyes to where
the heavens meet the earth
amid symphonies of colourful hues
in a perfect randomness of divine art
imbued with the thick aroma of pine scent
that bring ecstasy to sinking spirits,
where the crystal waters quench my thirst
and surroundings soothe my sinews,
prescribing a panacea……
God you heal all my pain!
