A missed calling realized
Even if with but one student I am but graced.
Better late than never or so the old saying goes.
I can tell by the zeal on this young man's face.
A willingness to learn? A gift from on high.
A burning within , may I say, a Holy Fire...
To make an old man feel 17 once again...
As few students do such old teachers inspire.
Some said I should have been a teacher
and that my calling was missed.
And i was too busy and occupied else wise.
For we are all young enough to learn the new
and hold on the old we should...Those Old Bible Truths, and abscond hell's lies.
