THE LEOPARD
WITH DEADLY ARMOR OF FANGS AND
CLAWS.
HE LIES IN HIS TREE PERCH THRU
OUT THE DAY.
SLEEPING AND RESTING THE HOURS
AWAY.
HE NEEDS HIS STRENTH, HIS CUNNING
AND SKILL.
WHEN HE SLIPS INTO THE DARKNESS TO
MAKE HIS KILL.
THE ANIMALS BECOME WARY AT THE
SLIGHTEST SOUND.
WHEN THER'RE AWARE THE HUNTER IS
STALKING THE GROUND.
THE LEOPARD LIES LURKING BY A STREAM
TODAY
PATIENTY WAITING TO PICK OUT HIS PREY.
HE SILENTLY WAITS TO TAKE HIS PICK.
OF THE SICK, OR THE UNWARY, OR THE NOT
SO QUICK.
WITH FANGS OF HUNGER AND LIGHTENING
SPEED.
HE'LL FIND A VICTIM ON WHICH TO FEED.
WITH CLAWS AND FANGS AND SNARLING JAWS.
AND STEALTH AND QUICKNESS AND SLASHING
CLAWS.
BY THE THROAT HE GETS HIS VICTIM IN A
VISE LIKE GRIP.
DIGS HIS FANGS IN DEEPLY, SO THE PREY
WON'T SLIP.
THE LAW OF THE JUNGLE IS IT DOSENT
FORGIVE.
SOME MUST DIE SO THAT OTHERS MIGHT LIVE.
