Days of old
Like my grandma told
Our souls will be joined as one
But our love song
Will never grow old
But stay young
Like the day
It rolled off God's tongue,
If I should go before thee,
My soul is set free
Our bond will not be broken
For me and God
Will be waiting
With our hands out
By the witness tree
When your sand runs out,
We will begin again
Like days of old.
