My Last Days: The Mask
As I concealed me in The Mask.
I know you would die, see me cry,
So I hide my tears deep in my eyes.
Deep within it stings in my heart,
I promise thy, it will not drop.
Agrieved,oppressed, dejected I feel,
Your silent touch gives me relief.
I am still trying hard,to enfold,
But the acute lurking pain, turns unfold.
Withdrawn,outcast,secluded like a clown,
When you are not around my tears roll down.
When you are not around,it goes like this,
What bliss, what care, it's all a miss.
I know i'll die, soon in your arms,
Black smoke all over, like burning barns.
Thinking of the day,my heart goes blank,
Oh lord, why me, I almost sank,
Deep within, it still grows far,
But I will conceal it behind the Mask.
