I laid watching her fall asleep...
When the dark clouds of autumn started to hover around,
And I believed my days of mayhem started to follow.
The pain from my past had shattered me and my heart had been hollow,
I had nothing left to do, then to lie my head across the wall and look at the ground.
Then, I saw a beautiful smile dazzling on the most prettiest face,
The twinkling eyes were looking back at me with hope.
She asked me if i could come closer to her,
Her lips, so gentle and subtle whirled me in a moment
My fingers slid across her beautiful hair,
And my eyes were wandering how she had dressed with flair.
Within fraction of seconds she started to fall asleep,
And i laid there, watching her as her keep.
Can love happen twice? I questioned myself,
But i had my answer lying on my lap.
I worried if I could ever succeed in reciprocating all her feelings equally,
But she is the one who loves me a lot and for whom I shall be only me.
