Done
Maybe than you could tell me its just a dream.
Nothing mattered than and it doesn't matter now,
Sometimes I look back and I'm not really sure how;
How I could walk away from my own soul and heart,
Or how I was okay with us being so far apart.
How could the sun live without the moon,
And how such a fire could be put out so soon?
I hate the way that the earth revolves,
Never pausing to let moments dissolve.
What I wouldn't give to relive one memory,
Just enevleope myself in that sensory.
Oh, how the stars danced before our eyes,
And how we loved beneath the starry skies.
Memories fade to sulking shadows though,
Hard to remember but impossible to let go.
How did the moon live without the sun,
And when did we decide we were done?
