The Reason I'm Here
First school, then a job with new bills I must pay.
I didn't decide to be born in this place,
So why am I here with these problems to face?
None of us chose to be born when we did,
But age is our label and family's the lid.
Your name was a choice that your parents thought up.
Even dogs have a label we called as a pup.
These thoughts made me think that I'm forced into life..
You HAVE to get married, have kids and a wife.
That's when my thoughts helped me discover my role:
Well, if there's no choices, you don't have a soul.
We may not have decided where our life had began,
And never had picked to be woman or man..
But after you're born, named, and have a birth year:
The rest is all options, your MIND is your gear.
I never thought the solution was so clear,
Until I saw all the new paths that were near.
You CHOOSE to be happy, you can FORCE away fear..
And with that, I found out THE REASON I'M HERE.
