Let's Get Philosophical
Four philosophical questions that baffle
with answers you’ll never win in a raffle.
For it deals with existence, freedom and choice
and why some are sad while others rejoice.
As to the question of ‘Who am I?’
Evolutionists and Atheist will reply,
that we all are just a bunch of civilized monkey’s
and this is the reason why we have so many junkies.
But the Christian knows who he is
a child of the King, and that brings peace.
Where do I come from? Oh, so many stories
and scientist and physicist claim all the glories.
Providing strong evidence for their theories,
but sadly, leaves us with just more queries.
Oh, how the One who created us must grieve
when He witnesses their folly and unbelieve.
Why am I here? Well, even if it’s only for a season
but for everything under the sun, there is a reason.
For my existence is a question of mission
because I am here to fulfil God’s vision;
to live happily, act justly, to show mercy
and correct wrongs that affect creation adversely.
I must answer the question to ‘Where I am going?’
Because there are many oblivious and not knowing,
I am going to that city with foundations built by God
that no gold or earthly treasures can afford.
What no eye has seen, ear has heard, or mind can conceive
for this is not a myth or a scientific make-believe!
