It's 2am and I'm wide awake,

The dogs are barking fierce tonight.
Something must be going on.

Relentless is my Zoey,
Who rarely makes a peep.

I even hear the dogs from afar,
As it seems they're trying to speak,

Of dangers that lurk beyond in the deep,
And I don't know if I'll ever get to sleep.
