My heart is overwhelmed with joy
As I reflect on my tree of life

It's hard to believe that my tree
Should be so full and bright

Leaves extend out on my limbs
That have grown on my tree over time

They are so beautiful and bright
With brilliance that floods heart and mind

These leaves you see are the memories
And the people I've let into my heart

And I realize that this tree of life
Has been growing from the very start

And of all I could've hoped to gain
There are way too many to name

But I'm thankful for each and every one
And on my tree they'll forever remain
