India: Unity In Diversity
But still progressing & marching ahead;
is a great tribute to unity in diversity,
that for whole the world we lead.
A subtle but strong thread of unity
has been running through India’s life.
It is woven with love, peace and harmony
not with stress, revenge or strife.
At times this broad cultural unity
did suffer serious upheavels & down,
yet it is advancing & never ceased to exist
as diversity has always been its crown.
There is verily concord of religons,
that are entrusted to us by God.
As all of them teach similar doctrines
of keeping yourself away from odd.
The most powerful force that binds us
is our deep interest to the fine arts.
A spirit of real brotherhood in it
is behind the harmony between hearts.
A national study of linguistic situation
reveals blood relationships in our languages.
Its awesome as 18 major and 844 dialects
are spoken here that is on pages.
We should always live free from
parochial thinking or religious bias.
Because every religonal consideration &
religious policy is undoubtedly pious.
The removal of untouchability,
solutions of unemployment and poverty
alongwith eradication of social evils
deserve to be given top priority.
The measures to protect monuments &
to promote ancient literature and art
that constitute our cultural heritage,
will also speed up our harmony cart.
It is desirable to show respect for
justified elements & disroot the witty.
As this is the best way to promote
harmonious unity in diversity.
