A psalm to my King
From up to down
I'm smiling I laugh
But then I frown
Life seems at times
Like a merry-go-round
That spins so fast
I get tossed to the ground
Yet still I say
I again will rise
No matter how oft
I get mud in my eyes
Lord cleanse this wretched heart of mine
As I'm focusing on YOUR love
It's the ONLY thing that I can find
That can cleanses all the crud
I'm waiting on You
To lift me up
And I will soar
As the eagles do
For it is Your love
That fills me up
And Your joy
My strength to renew
